Waxing Lunar
I read dozens of science-related articles every day. I have various iPhone apps that give me round-the-clock access to articles/news on just about every topic imaginable from anywhere on the globe. I get email notifications whenever an earthquake above 4.5 hits.
Anywhere.
Whether it's the location of underground faults in bedrock, or the origin of black spots on smallmouth bass in the Susquehanna River, I cannot tell you how many times I've read, and continue to find, phrases like "previously unknown" or "undetermined causes". With all our technology and plethora of experts ( and wannabe experts ) on just about everything under the sun & moon...there is still so much we simply do not understand.
With that in mind...I wonder if a combination of the upcoming peak of the 11 year solar cycle and the approaching "SuperMoon" have anything to do with the significant increase in earthquake activity around the globe.
Truth is...we just don't know.
Yet.
