Dunkard Creek Lawsuit Settled

For those that have been in tune with environmental issues over the past decade, Dunkard Creek ( in southwestern PA & WV ) should immediately conjure up images like this.

 

 

In February 2009, over 60,000 fish, mussels and other aquatic life was snuffed out by toxic discharges from a local mine. Six years later, it appears the PFBC has agreed to settle the lawsuit.
