Invasion of the Rusty Crayfish

Caught this article about yet another invasive species in the Susquehanna River. Guess we won't have to look too hard for these critters in the years ahead.

From the article:

"And if you're thinking crayfish bisque, Cajun crawdad boil or crawfish étouffée, forget it. Mangan said the rusty crayfish in the Susquehanna River have too high a mercury content for human consumption."

Planning to wade in the Susquehanna without something more than sandals on your feet?

Think twice.
