Countless: Across Time

I've paddled over 2,000 miles on the north branch of the Susquehanna River. I've studied it's geology and geomorphology and lectured on both over 30 years ago. I've read countless books, articles and journals about the Susquehanna and its people, with some being written over four centuries ago. Double what you see below...and you're less that halfway there. Significantly less.

The Susquehanna we see today is a far, far cry from what existed before the latest European migration invasion began in the ~17th century.

I hope to enlighten some folks over the next few weeks by sharing what I've learned...and seen...and imagined (?).
