My friend and occasional paddling partner, Steve Pidcock, has published a new book, Faces of the Susquehanna.
The minute Steve notified me it was on the shelves, I bolted to the nearest bookstore on Rittenhouse Square and picked up a copy.
I have several of Steve's pics on display in my home and office, but his book contains close to 200 that I had never seen before. I'm not sure if I have a new favorite, but the gnomelike-totem pic on page 80 is definitely in the running.
Steve - I'd like to order a ~12" x 15" print of that pic. Send me the costs & I'll stroke a check.
For those that have never seen Steve's work, or have never paddled on the Susquehanna, I hope you get a chance to review Steve's book along with a cup of coffee or, if you prefer, a glass of Susquehanna Sunset from Grovedale Winery in Wyalusing, PA.
