Another RiverFest in the books.
I'm not in a blogging frame of mind this morning, so I'll keep this all brief. As can be seen by the pics above, the weather was great, the turnout was good, and many new folks were introduced to the Susquehanna River. At some point in the future, I'll share my thoughts on how to turn the event into one of the premiere paddling events on the east coast.
Ooops...I'm sorry. They've just hired a 24 year-old Karl Borton, the son of a local politically-connected businessman, to do just that. Once again, Luzerne County ( PA USA ) never fails to disappoint. My fellow bloggers...are we going to let this one slip by without a fuss? Methinks ( and hopes ) not.
