For those that visit frequently, you'll recall that last weekend included my daughter's graduation from college and a 500+ mile travelfest from my home to Washington, Wilkes-Barre, and back. This weekend is booked solid with chores around the house, so I'll dispense with the comments and get right to the picfest from the graduation and everything in between. Enjoy.

Why would anyone remove ALL vegetation from the river's banks?
Susquehanna River, Nesbitt Park - Luzerne County, PA.
This makes little sense to me. Then again, what do I know?
Have a good weekend.
From what I heard, the vegetation removal was done in conjunction with copious amounts of weedkiller. On the banks of a river. Do you think that might be an application which is a violation of Federal laws?
