Hear no Evil...

And I quote: "Places like Pennsylvania and New York need strong laws or this is what they're going to get."

Think this can't happen in PA? In some remote corner of our state forests where our limited number of inspectors fear to tread?

Okay...how about closer to home? The Pennsylvania Game Commission's Executive Director Carl G. Roe said: "accidents occurred on the first two wells tapped into the Marcellus Shale reserve on game land."  Read the rest here under Gas Drilling.

Or...how about EnCana's track record in their own back yard? Read "Ugly Reality of Fracking" for yet another glimpse of what's in store for Pennsylvania and elsewhere.

And when the first round of private wells are contaminated in Luzerne County, when the first major accident happens, when the first "unexplained" fish kill is discovered...get ready for more of this:

"...declined to discuss...alleged...cannot be proven...independent tests did not link...did not return phone calls..."

For the folks that have leased their land, I hope you're ready for the aftermath.

As I said almost two years ago: "This is gonna get ugly..."
