For those that follow such things, you've probably read the recent articles that the Eastern Cougar has been declared officially extinct.
Over the 18+ years I've been blogging, I've posted many articles about a friend that lives along the Susquehanna River in Bradford County, PA. Over the decades, he's spent countless hours in the woods in northeastern Pennsylvania, both hunting - primarily for turkey and deer - as well as observing nature to become a better hunter.
The USFWS states the Eastern Cougar - from Maine to Florida and parts west to the Mississippi - is officially extinct. Someone who's spent decades traipsing through the woods of northeastern PA believes otherwise.
Who has the bona fides to back up their claim?
