There is a wealth of information online about the murder of the last local ( Lancaster PA ) remnants of the once mighty Susquehannock Nation. If you Google: conestoga 1763 sentinel, you'll find many of my prior offerings, including this one.
I'm certain the Conestogas have many descendants within the Iroquois and other Native Nations, as well as the general ( non-native ) population.
