Twixt Disdain and Disgust

As I watch all the back and forth going on in Washington regarding the approaching fiscal cliff, I keep wondering where our modern-day leaders are?

Republican, Democrat...doesn't matter. With one or two exceptions, I wouldn't follow any of them down a well-marked Boy Scout trail.

BTW, I've removed a NEPA blogger from my blogroll due to some recent comments posted on Facebook wishing George H.W. Bush an early death. Whatever the man did or did not do in his life, he doesn't deserve that.
