SRBC Quarterly Meeting Scheduled

From today's Citizens Voice:

Our Susquehanna River: The designation of the Susquehanna by the American Rivers group as America's most endangered river should again prompt everyone to ask this most basic question: Is it worth the risk to our lives to allow years or decades of drilling for natural gas? Fracking, the process used to free gas from shale, likely will destroy wells, entire aquifers, streams, lakes and rivers. We're only talking about our most essential need for life … clean water.

Ponder that thought for a moment, and then check out how much water our environmentally-friendly natural gas drillers want to withdraw from the Susquehanna watershed.  Chances are all of the gas industry's applications will be approved by the Susquehanna River Basin Commission at their next quarterly meeting on June 23.

I wonder who will be there to speak on behalf of the Susquehanna and its tributaries?
