Walking On...& For Our Waters

   
I'd like to thank everyone who offered suggestions for my 13+ mile walk on 8/21. I'm going to use a little piece of each idea...so everyone who sent an e-mail or posted a comment gets a T. Send me your address and adult T-shirt size via e-mail, and I'll do the rest.

Starting around sunrise, I will step out of the Susquehanna River and begin my walk to the Luzerne County Fairgrounds. It should take less than 4 hours to get there, and the music is scheduled ( as of yesterday ) to begin at 11 a.m. George W. will be there. So will Don S. Not sure about CS&N yet.

I've been in direct contact with the folks at Gas Stock. I am going to be a $100.00 sponsor from my own pocket. My banners will be up on stage. I have an assignment to complete...so I'll be busy on that for the next few weeks.  I will post all details of my small role in this over the weekend.

Let's pitch in folks. The Marcellus Shale Frenzy is is the biggest threat to PA's environment of our generation. When it comes to protecting the Susquehanna River and its tributaries, sitting on the sidelines is not an option.
