Yet another "incident" at a Pennsylvania drilling site...this time at Sproul State Forest. The equivalent of between 160 and 240 fifty-gallon drums of drilling mud spilled last Friday due to "human error." Just water and sand??? Methinks not. And of course, there was no contamination...
Read about it here.
According to the article...this public land was leased in January! Here we are, just over two months later, and we have our first known/reported incident. I wonder what the E&P stands for...Eviscerate and Pollute?
Anadarko is based out of Texas...go figure. I did find it interesting that it took me less than a minute to find yet another "human error" on their website. Must be part of their "coporate" culture.
My fellow Pennsylvanians, how long are we going to tolerate this?
On Earth Day...please join us.
