It seems the pics of the flooded drilling site along Wyalusing Creek are still catching the attention of quite a few people, including the Delaware Riverkeeper Network and a Bradford County newspaper.
Good. The more folks that see this ill-advised and (possibly) illegal drilling site, the better. The DEP and SRBC should be working more closely together on this...and hopefully now that the DEP's leader - John Hanger - is on the SRBC's board, perhaps they'll compare notes from time to time and start protecting our waters instead of rubber-stamping their eventual demise.
We need the local conservation districts back in the mix....NOW!

Just when I thought I was out?
ReplyDeleteYeah, I've been having those same sorts of sane thoughts for years on end. Funny though, I'm still not out.
Perhaps we should accept that until it's really time (never) to get out, we're still in.
