Dream it...Believe it...LIVE IT

I would like to acknowledge and thank a fellow GAR grad and Mayflower native David Krafcik for creating the two pieces below. They will find a place on the walls of my "Man Cave" later today.

From David's online bio here:

I am an artist living and working in the Celo section of Burnsville, North Carolina. In 1980, I was injured in a severe automobile accident and was told by his doctors that I would never walk again. Through determination and the hard work of intense physical therapy, I was able to reverse that diagnosis and today walks with only the use of crutches.
In 1987, I started my business, Visual Dialogue, making stamps out of linoleum and designing clothing. My marketing efforts included weekend travel to Arts & Crafts shows in Pennsylvania and New York, as well as working a kiosk in malls where he would “air-brush everything and anything”.
In 1999 I applied for and received a Disability Grant from the state of Florida, which has allowed me to pursue my talent in etching glass.
In 2008 we moved to the mountains of Western North Carolina to continue my work in hand etched glass.
Today I retail and wholesale my work all over the U.S.A.

+  +  +

For those that visit this blog often, you know where I've been for the past 15 months.

David's been there a lot longer.

Down the road a little, there will be a third piece added to this collection.

I will provide the setting...and David will capture it.

I have seen it a hundred times in my mind's eye.

But now, I have to go out and get it.

My arrival at that time and place is somewhat uncertain, but I know for absolute certain that I will not get there from here.

I'm going to wrap up some unfinished business over the next few posts, and then I am going to spend every available waking moment chasing my dream, for having seen it...I now have to live it.

And when I get there, I promise to share it here.
