Time to Walk Away
In just a few weeks, I will celebrate, ummm...mark the anniversary of my 11th year of blogging in cyberspace. Beginning as Susquehanna River Navigations in October 1999, I've been doing this for well over a decade and I find it's time to close out this chapter of my life and move on.
I'm going to wrap up a few issues over the next several posts, and then pull the plug and redirect my energies to completing some goals that I've had on the back-burner way too long.
Stay tuned.

I am soooo bummed you are walking away - I discovered this blog months ago and read it every day. I rely on you for insight and news on drilling. (Hope drilling didn't wipe you out.) I would love you to advise as to your favorite blogs so I can keep up. And I think you should paddle, rather than walk, away. Thanks
ReplyDeleteWow. That's going to be a huge loss. I wish you'd reconsider.
ReplyDeleteWhen you say "pull the plug", do you mean you'll delete this blog? Even if you're not updating it, it's still a valuable resource. I hope you keep it. But ven more, I hope you stick around and keep doing what you're doing.
Little Sis has always supported you 100%....except when you tortured me growing up....not sure how I feel about this decision, however I still support you. Whatever the reasons are, they must be very important to you. You have worked so hard and so long on this and you HAVE made a difference, and I have learned so much. I hope you reconsider.
ReplyDeleteDon, Your work has been invaluable. I can appreciate your need to move on. Blogging at your level of quality content, visuals, research, field trips...is time and psyche consuming. Like D.B. I hope you keep this body of work archived.
ReplyDeleteBest, Herb
This is very, very, very distressing. :(
